An upholsterer / designer: this is a new proposition in the world of upholstery. Here, the pieces are created at your request, or designed according to the inspiration of the moment. The models are unique, or in very small series (of 19 or 14 pieces). This is the opposite of uniformity, wise and impersonal.
Here, models and customers have personality!
For the armchairs, I work on antique models that I have restored myself, or on your favourite armchairs. Cushion covers and lampshades are made by hand. You have the assurance of a quality production, handcrafted, and entirely Made in France.
My name is Marion Gissler. I've been a professional graphic designer for about 20 years. I have also taught this profession in postgraduate and university courses. After additional training in upholstery design, I decided to combine my 2 passions to create a new hybrid profession: upholstery designer.
As a professional graphic designer, I have a perfect knowledge of the printing process, which allows me to offer you designs that are managed to the exact shade and shape.
We create what we want, adapted to the shape of your armchair, sofa, cushion, lampshade?
And when in doubt, we run a simulation!
My motivation? To create extra-ordinary models, in the primary sense of the term, for individuals and professionals. It is difficult, if not impossible, to find a decoration that does not blend in with the mass, pre-chewed, neutral, and to say the least, a little sad.
We need a little madness in this world, for God's sake!
Oh, and 19.14, the name? It's a wink, a family tribute. It is the year of my grandmother's birth, Pauline, who passed on to me her experience and know-how in sewing, fabrics and decoration. And who, through her teaching, also helped me to acquire curiosity, an alert mind, an openness to the world and to people. In short, this name is a dedication to a valuable person. Thank you Mamie!
